Welcome to the second half of 2009!

I find it interesting we often spend more time planning a vacation than we do planning on how to live in a healthy way? If you are building a new home, you just don't start putting up walls. There is a lot of planning which goes into each decision to ensure the house you end up with is what you wanted.
Before we can excute a plan, we have to create a plan. Makes sense, doesn't it? I am going to be sharing with you a process to make this easier called 8 Steps to Buildling a Healthy Life. And I am going to use the analogy of building a house. Instead of a house, we will be building a healthy life. Every step is important and each step builds upon the previous step. So it is important to start at the beginning and invest the time needed creating the plan to create the life you want to live!
STEP 1
Crafting the Blueprint:
1. Hire an architect: When you are building a house, this is the person who helps you turn your vision into an organized plan, the first step in creating the reality. This could be your Beachbody Coach, an accountability partner etc.
2. Make three decisions: Size, Style and Budget
a. Size: What does your healhy body look like? Body Fat %, lung capacity, target heart rate, blood pressure. It is not about the scale only!
b. Style: Describe your healthy lifestyle: What does a day in the life of a healthy you look like. What type of exercise are you doing, what are you eating, what time do you get up, what types of activities are you involved in?
c. Budget: How much time will you schedule daily to concentrate and focus on your healthy lifestyle?
3. Put your Heatlhy You Blueprint into Writing: Make it real, read it every day, remind yourself of where you are going. This is a living document, not a static one. Update and review frequently.
